Captain Dennis Rogers brings his talents as skipper, naturalist & host to a new ship for 2011. Formerly aboard the Alaska Adventurer, Captain Dennis’ new Alaskan expedition yacht raises the bar for Southeast Alaskan luxury & adventure.
Guests aboard the Northern Song can create their personal, custom itinerary based around their daily desires. Kayaking, whale watching, bear viewing, hot springs soaking, hiking and fishing are just a few of the possible adventures.
Here is feedback from a client who traveled with Captain Dennis last year aboard the Alaska Adventurer:
I would compare our Alaska trip to be on an equal footing with a Kenyan safari or Galapagos trip. I had no idea that Alaska would be comparable to either of those once-in-a-lifetime trips we took, but it truly was. The fresh seafood each night was fantastic and it was such a pleasure being a part of the process of fishing, clamming, crab potting, etc. The scenery was unsurpassable. The experiences of boarding a fishing vessel, walking a glacier, swimming in a natural hot spring, touring and meeting with an old light house keeper, whale watching, bear sightings, were all spectacular. Captain Dennis was extremely knowledgeable and willing to share his expertise with us. I highly recommend this trip to anyone!!!

i retired 10 years ago, am 84 years old, my young wife (75) and i continue to live summers in stonington maine, our former summer home. where we sailed a gulfstar 37 (sold it in 2013) for 30 years thru the beautiful islands of penobscot bay, we now live in la jolla, california for long winters
we are thinking of chartering a captained boat and lazily sailing in alaska or b.c.
for 10 days+/- we would then fly east to stonington, probably thru boston
what are the possibilities ?
