SUP Fishing for King Salmon

While we aren’t doing quite as cool stuff as these guys with our SUPs, Maui Jerry brought over fishing rigs this year for his annual two month trip to Haines with the goal of hooking a King Salmon.

So far the concepts of “kneel and reel” and “gaff and land” are untested, but we’re persistent and hope to get video of Jerry hooking a big King by the end of June.  Stay Tuned!
