We’re 5 days into Aaron Moscowicz & Jesse Monsour’s heli trip to Haines, Alaska. Four out of five days have been bluebird and they’ve been able to take full advantage of our record snowpack.
A few highlights of their trip so far include getting a taste of the endless terrain surrounding Haines and fly fishing on our local rivers.
Aaron hooked into a nice Steelhead on Tuesday, the first I’ve ever seen produced out of Haines. I’ve heard stories for years, but now I’ve witnessed it firsthand. Not sure who was more stoked! 
Aaron’s wife is 8 months pregnant back in Los Angeles, and obviously extremely understanding while the boys fulfill a life long dream to ride in AK! Wishing them all the best with their new addition arriving in a month’s time.
There’s been big smiles all around this week. The season runs until the end of April and it’s never too early to be planning for 2013 in Haines, Alaska!
