We’ve turned the corner in Haines, Alaska, and the days are rapidly increasing in length. It’s the time of year for the temporary migration of hundreds of riders and skiers to our community to experience the unparalleled wilderness and mountains that make up our backyard. It’s also time for locals to reap the rewards in the mountains and on the rivers for putting in a long winter, as we gaze at the sun over the Chilkats like moles fresh from the earth.
Here’s a few shots from the local mountains over the past couple of months, courtesy of Drake Olson. Hope to see you up here!
