M/V Milo

Come explore the wild coastline of Alaska on the M/V Milo. Originally built to withstand the rigors of fishing the North Pacific Ocean, the M/V Milo is a 58′ Alaskan “limit” Seiner design. The local Alaskan owners began the process of relocating the former fishing vessel from the San Francisco Bay area to Homer, Alaska in December of 2009. Three and a half years into it’s restoration and re-fitting, the Milo is ready to be the platform for your great Alaskan Adventure whether is a surf trip, a SUP tour, a working expedition, the options are endless.

The M/V Milo is a former commercial fishing vessel, built for fishing the North Pacific not for luxury accommodations! Although a lot of restoration and retrofitting has gone into the boat, the accommodations are much more commercial fishing crew quarters than luxury hotel.

Owner Mike McCune and Captain Scott Dickerson also have more than 60 years of surf experience (and one happens to be a talented professional photographer).
